Lanouette Dance

Her life seemed so perfect, so
alive and inspired! He gave
her the love she so desperately desired--
She saw summer sunshine, but he saw a storm;
He broke her heart and left her for someone else.
Broken in spirit, crushed like a rejected rose;
Ms. Lanouette’s heart was shocked and froze;
Abandonment settled in and she felt
so alone;
Then she wept as the pain in her heart hit home.
Then during the long dark night of her depression,
Her best friend was praying for
her in
intercession: The
Lord impressed her friend to visit Ms. Lanouette:
So her best friend got up, got dressed and went.
Ms. Lanouette did not want him
to come in at first: “I
don’t want you to see me now; I’m at my worst.”
But her best friend insisted and he just held her
close: Ministering God’s
love is what she needed most.
“How did you know I was in so
much pain tonight?” “God
told me while I was praying for your life.”
Realizing how much her friend and Jesus loved her,
Ms. Lanouette wept again and began to blubber.
Then there was a turning point inside her healing heart:
She stood up and thanked God for a brand new start--
She lifted her arms and with great joy twirled
around! She did it again and
laughed so hard she fell down--
Dance, Lanouette, dance!
Dance around and around like a pirouette
Dance, Lanouette, dance!
Dance like a ballerina who was given a second chance
Dance, Lanouette, dance!
Her life seemed so perfect, so
alive and inspired! God
gave her the love she so desperately desired--
She saw summer sunshine, but he foresaw the storm;
He healed her broken heart and sent her someone else.
Dance, Lanouette, dance!
Dance around and around like a pirouette
Dance, Lanouette, dance!
Dance like a ballerina who was given a second chance
Dance, Lanouette, dance!
